How to get the best results
Tip: Teach children to hold the pencil near the tip with the thumb and index finger, supported by the middle finger. Thick, soft-lead pencils need less pressure.
Frequently asked questions
Why are thick pencils better for young children?
Small hands grip a thick barrel more easily, which reduces tiredness and helps form a correct pencil grip.
Which age is this pencil for?
Check the age shown in the product name. Thicker, softer pencils suit younger children.
